Network Facilities Field Technician
REQUIREMENTS
-
Minimum of 5 years experience in a field and
customer site environment.
-
Technician must have a working knowledge of IAD
units.
-
Must have a complete understanding of T-1 circuits.
-
Technician will be required to configure IAD routers
and modems for Internet connectivity.
-
Excellent PC skills including Excel, Word, Outlook,
and trouble ticket database.

Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
-
Technician must live in the New Orleans metro area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Field Technician will serve as
single point of contact and be responsible for all
areas associated with the customer site equipment
and environment from the customer demarcation back
to the network interface.
-
Field Technician will be responsible for all site
walks, field installs, service activations –
including T-1, PRI, DSL, and POTS along with fault
finding of inside wiring, edge equipment and
services at business and residential customer
locations.

Technician must be a team player and be willing to
work with various teams to coordinate, trouble shoot
and isolate network issues.

Some travel and heavy lifting required.
