Xfone Receives
Israeli Telecom License; Xfone, the Fifth Licensed International
Carrier in Israel, to Compete in an Approximate $330 Million
Market

PETACH TIKVA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 2004---- Xfone Communication Ltd., a subsidiary of Xfone, Inc., (OTCBB:XFNE) is pleased to announce that it received a license from the Government of Israel to provide International Telecom Services in the State of Israel. Xfone is the fifth carrier to receive a license after the former three incumbents Bezeq International, Barak and Golden Lines and the new provider Internet Gold (NASDAQ:IGLD). It is expected that another company, Netvision, will receive the sixth license soon.
In a ceremony held in the Ministry of Communication, Israel Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Communication, Mr. Ehud Olmerth granted Mr. Guy Nissenson, President and CEO of Xfone and Mr. Rafi Dick, President of Xfone Communication Ltd. the license. Xfone received the 018 access number for long distance international calls.
During the ceremony, Guy Nissenson said: "Xfone is bringing into Israel over 100 years of accumulative managerial experience, a profitable business model, a flexible approach and an international view that includes commercial and interconnect agreements that will allow quality services with attractive prices".
