DSL SUPPORTED EQUIPMENT INFORMATION

Equipment Needed:

A DSL router is the appropriate equipment to use with XDSL Service options. Xfone can provide a DSL router with a professional installation or you may provide your own router and your equipment vendor can advise if a particular brand or model is compatible. Xfone is only able to support routers that Xfone has provided.

You may choose to install your own XDSL product with your own equipment. Business customers who have their XDSL line within a PBX or key system may elect to self-install their XDSL product. Xfone, however, will not be held responsible for problems when self-installation is performed under those arrangements.

Qualified and Supported Equipment by Xfone:

Modems and routers purchased from Xfone receive full support by our technical support group and will be professionally installed. Listed below is a complete list of these products:

Xfone Modem Program

Customers may choose to supply their own modem(s). Xfone provides Customer Help Desk or installer support on qualified and supported modems. There is a limit of one such modem per XDSL account. Please allow five (5) business days from the date of placing the order to receive your modem.

Your modem, whether self-installment or professional installment, will be billed to your credit card or by bank draft at time of placing the service order. A shipping and handling fee of $9.95 will also be applied to your credit card or by bank draft at time of placing the service order. There are two methods of equipment installation: Self-Installation - $79.95 or Professional-Installation - $99.95. (This amount does not include sales tax.)

DSL Equipment Return Policy

If you decide within thirty (30) days of the Ship Date or Installation Date that you want to return the modem for any reason, you may return it and you will not be charged for the modem, but (1) you must notify Xfone within thirty (30) days of the Ship Date/Professional Installation Date; (2) you must return the modem in accordance with our modem return procedures set forth and we must receive the modem in good working order with all original parts, accessories, disks, instruction manuals and related documentation intact within thirty (30) days after your notification to us.
